On my first listening of Doves’ Kingdom of Rust, this track really stood out for me. The way it transitions from a sweet, ambient ballad to a noisy/fuzzy rocktoberbulescent jam is beyond memorable — just like the word “rocktoberbulescent.”
Overall, the entire album is pretty damn cohesive and stands to be one of my favorite records of 2009.
